Another game, another convincing loss — though this was one closer than I expected. As Adam Lauridsen notes, at least the Warriors kept things close enough to avoid garbage time and keep the Spurs starters on the floor through the end of the game.

Good to see Udoh step up his rebounding game, with 7 boards in a season-high 38 minutes. He also led the team in scoring with 15 — and from the sound of it (I didn’t watch) he actually showed off some nice moves.

Other than that though, the box score doesn’t provide much to get excited about, and in the team stats the Warriors were once again outshot, outassisted, and killed in the paint. Though I do need to give them credit for winning the rebounding battle, with boards well-distributed throughout the team.

But the end result was a loss, and now the 30-41 Warriors head to Houston to finish up the road trip. And looking at the remaining schedule, 3-8 does not seem out of the question for the rest of the season.
