The Warriors welcome the team-that-everyone-used-to-hate-but-now-kinda-grudgingly-accepts-thanks-to-their-embarassment-last-year to Oracle. What to watch for tonight:
- Win: Please. It’s starting to get depressing around here. Do we really need to start rooting for losses and improved draft position at this young point in the season?
- Tradeoff: No Curry for the Warriors, but no Wade for the Heat. The Warriors get the better of that exchange, but will it really matter?
- Monta vs. the World: Monta is obviously trying to put the load on his shoulders, and so far it’s led to modest success spoiled by ill-timed turnovers and a terrible last-second shot. It’s not like the Warriors have many other good options on offense these days, and I cringe thinking about LeBron covering Monta at key moments tonight, but at a certain point Monta needs to prove himself to be the player he thinks he is.
