		<description><![CDATA[I like the logo a lot -- keeps the branding consistent with the colors, name, and (horrible) copperplate gothic, as it seems clear that they want to really tie this team to the big club (which didn&#039;t have nearly as much appeal in North Dakota). The trident-W is a nice touch to give it a bit more of a sea feel without going too far away from the &quot;warrior&quot; concept. I think it could actually sell a decent amount of merchandise as it&#039;s pretty badass when you get down to it.

Interesting point in Rusty&#039;s Chron article today about the d-league team in how they&#039;d love it if the rookies they&#039;re stashing in the minors could practice in the morning with the big club in Oakland and then drive down to play a game in Santa Cruz at night. Synergy! ]]></description>
