The Warriors welcome the Thunder to Oracle tonight. What to watch for:
- Crack the code: The Warriors played the Thunder pretty tough last year, winning just one of three but keeping all of them close. Do they still have the right combination to vex this new Western Conference power, or will Jackson’s new style take away this edge?
- Young 1′s: Curry vs. Westbrook. Tantalizing potential vs. arrived talent with a lower offensive ceiling but a true presence defensively. Who’ll get the best of the matchup tonight?
- Monta vs. The Star: We all know that Monta gets up big time for his matchups with Kobe, and I would imagine that he’ll go into this game with an extra chip on his shoulder due to the presence of Durant. Usually this leads to a 9-26 night for Ellis, but maybe he’ll have a playmaker’s mentality tonight after a great game as a distributor against Portland. Maybe.
