The Warriors return home to face the Pacers at Oracle, and word is that there’s an outside chance Curry could be back on the court. What to watch for tonight:

  • Bounce Back: After a disappointing end to the road trip, the Warriors need to bring it in front of their home fans — a two game losing streak to the Nets and Pacers is not how you make the playoffs.
  • East Coast Bias: This is the final game against an Eastern Conference team for a while after a heavy slate here in the early going. With fewer games against the lesser conference in general this year the Warriors really need to take advantage.
  • Rebound: The Warriors got CRUSHED on the boards in New Jersey — and that was even without Lopez playing. The Warriors have been rebounding decently this year — even after a -20 on the stat in the last game, they’re only averaging -3 on total rebounding differential this year — but they won’t be for long if they put up many similar performances to what we saw on Wednesday.

The Warriors finish up the roadie against an underachieving Nets team. What to watch for tonight:

  • Be Greedy: They’ve avoided disaster by winning at least 2 games on the trip, but they can’t be satisfied with simply avoiding disaster if they hope to make the playoffs. With a six game home stand awaiting, tonight could be the difference between yet another middling stretch or a bona fide winning streak.
  • Summon the Energy: The Warriors are playing their 4th game in 5 nights, whereas the Nets had last night off (but have at least played 3 games since last Friday). In the past, the Warriors have made a habit of completely mailing in the final game of their east coast road trips, so it will be important to avoid the letdown after last night’s solid win.
  • Bounce Back: The Warriors won last night despite a completely off night for Monta. With Curry still out, it would be great to see Monta give the team a shot in the arm with a strong scoring night. Just make sure it’s efficient — I’d rather he stick to a 10 point night than throw up 20+ shots just to score 20.

The Warriors continue the road trip against the Cleveland Cavaliers. What to watch for tonight:

  • Rook on Rook: Kyrie Irving has looked great this year, and with Curry expected out it looks like Jenkins will be tasked with stopping him. Can our rookie slow down their rookie?
  • Avoid the Slow Start: As we saw in the game against Charlotte, the Warriors remain susceptible to laying a first quarter egg on the road. The Cavs are an extremely young team, so getting off to a strong start is crucial — no need to give those kids confidence.
  • Light at the End of the Tunnel: If the Warriors win this game, then the 3-1 trip they desperately need remains a possibility. At the very least, it would be great to win tonight to avoid relying on a win on a back-to-back to get to .500 on the trip.

After a horrid start to the road trip, the Warriors attempt to right the ship in Detroit. What to watch for tonight:

  • Gaining Ground: At the start of this trip, I was hoping for at least a 3-1 trip to serve as a sign that things were moving in the right direction. Well, after dropping perhaps the most winnable game of the trip, the margin for error is gone if they hope to make any progress toward .500 before returning home. And tonight they play on a back-to-back against a team that had last night off — not exactly confidence inspiring.
  • The Second Best Player in the NBA: Monta needs a better showing than the 6-26 he put up last night. With Curry still out, the Warriors absolutely need their best player to play like it.
  • Regrets: This will be the only time we see Ekpe vs. the player the Warriors could have had in last year’s draft, Greg Monroe. Given the year that Monroe is having, I’m guessing the regrets will come fast and furious.
