And it’s pretty good PR as well — buried in the article is the fact that they won’t hold the vote this week at the owner’s meetings as originally hoped, but that’s overshadowed by the news that everyone agrees that it’s just a matter of time before things become official. It’s a 14-week process turning into a 16-week one, so might as well get ahead of the bad news and smartly emphasize that you have the facts on your side.

Can’t wait to have Lacob finally talk on the record now that the “I don’t own the team yet” excuse is unavailable.
